Have you ever seen a brain pulled out of a fly and dissected right in front of you? How does a fish look as an embryo versus as an adult? Come to the Boz Institute’s open house to learn about our projects and programs, and see for yourself how we use worms, fish, and flies to study environmental pollutants’ effects on gene expression in humans.

Lights! Action! ABC 10News is the EXPO DAY TV Media sponsor and will be hosting our 10News Experience green screen where kids can try their hand as a reporter in a “live” studio. See if you have what it takes to report a fire, traffic or weather on camera! Take photos with 10News Anchors and Reporters or talk with producers and photographers about our studio and news team.
BAE Systems will feature an engineering and communication challenge where visitors will test their logical processing skills and work together with BAE Systems engineers to demonstrate principles of human-computer interaction. We will also have a leadership-building pair challenge that reveals the benefits of teamwork and overcoming the different perspectives each person has in order to accomplish one common goal.
Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death. More than 350,000 Americans experience a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital each year. Unfortunately, about 90% of cardiac arrest victims die, often because bystanders don’t know how to perform CPR or are afraid of doing it incorrectly. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a person’s chances of survival.
We encourage you to stop by this booth to learn the two simple steps of Hands-Only CPR and help save a life!
Northrop Grumman will conduct hands-on STEM activities and engage with visitors on careers in engineering.
