JCS San Diego Academy

Our booth will be two tents. One is a workshop and the other is a "Walk-in-Painting" (based on a scientific topic) where public art created in our workshop tent, will be added to our interactive installation. This booth will be designed, built and ran by the students of Julian Charter School, San Diego Academy.

Magnolia Science Academy

Magnolia students will be showcasing award winning future city project and provide hands-on futuristic city building activity for visitors. Future city is a competition for middle schools where students imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future that showcase their solution to a citywide sustainability issue. Project includes virtual city design, city essay, scale model,project plan, and a presentation. For more info visit www.futurecity.org

Out of the Darkness

Join EcoVivarium as they bring hidden reptiles, amphibians and bugs - out from under the rocks and out of the shadows into the light of day. Together we will travel back in time to take a look at their influence on science, art, cultures and history from Aboriginal tribes, ancient Egypt and all the way up through modern medicine and the critical role they play saving lives each and every day. EcoVivarium

Join EcoVivarium's Living Museum and experience the world of reptiles, amphibians and arthropods. Get up close and touch or hold everything from hissing cockroaches and tarantulas to desert iguanas and burmese pythons. The highly trained Animal Ambassadors of EcoVivarium are waiting for you to come by and Step In To Their World...(R) - see the impact these hidden creatures have on your very existence and how you can have an impact on their world.

K-Zone

Let Young fingers explore STEAM in the kid friendly K-Zone. Designed for children 6 and under this zone features butterfly hunts, hat creation, art and constructive play.

STEAM Maker Recycled Challenges

The STEAM Maker Recycled Fashion and Engineering Challenges. Students in graded 5-12 will compete in this head-to-head competition to build a costume or device inspired by the STAR WARS Steampunk Universe. When complete team members will answer questions from the judges as they walk the runway with their creation.
