2025 San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering Sponsor Information

Welcome to the Sponsor Information Page for the 2025 San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering! Here, you'll find everything you need to know about participating as a sponsor, including important dates, event logistics, and key guidelines. We will be updating this page regularly as more information becomes available, so please check back periodically to stay informed about the latest details for the 2025 Festival. Thank you for your support in making this event a success!

December 6th: Sponsor Application is due 
  • The information collected here helps us ensure your set up has everything it needs and all logistics are accounted for. If you are not sure what your booth activity is now, just write “To Be Determined” and we will circle back with you. Please complete this as soon as possible as it is essential to ensuring priority of your space at the Festival.  
  
January 7th: Submit T-shirt sizes  
  • If you would like to request specific sizes ahead of the Open House, please send complete this form by January 7th.  
  • T-shirt allotments from sponsor levels are as follows: Platinum (50) Gold (30), Silver (25), Copper (20), Krypton (15) and Titanium (10). 
  • We can also put together a box of shirts for you with mixed sizes, and we will default to this if we don’t hear from you. 
  • If you aren’t able to pick up your shirts at open house, they will be placed at your booth at the Festival. We will not be able to accommodate drop-offs. 
January 31st: Pay sponsorship invoice.

February 7th: Pre-Purchase Parking Deadline 
  • Each sponsoring organization will receive two complimentary parking spots at the MTS lot. If you'd like to purchase additional parking for your organization, please complete the form linked below. Our team will send you an invoice for the amount you order, with payment due by February 14th. 
  • Location: Padres Parkade (440 Eleventh Ave, San Diego, CA 92101) See map below.
  • Price: $10.00 per parking spot. We will invoice you for the amount of parking you purchased.
  • The deadline to place your order is 2/7.
  • Payment is due by 2/14.
  • We will email you the parking passes and you will be required to disperse the passes, print them, and ensure they are placed on the dashboards of cars.
  • You can purchase additional parking for your organization here. 
February 7th: Friar Funds orders due
  • There will be food available to purchase in Petco Park. If you want to provide funds for your volunteers to buy food, you can purchase Friar Funds. These come in $5 increments and can be used at Petco Park on the day of the Festival, and through the rest of the Padres season (Padres games only). It is important that your volunteers know that change will not be given if the full amount of the $5 voucher is not used. The vendor pricing is the same as during Padres games. We will invoice you for the number of Friar Funds you purchase.
  • If you would like to order Friar Funds for your volunteers, please place your orders by 2/7. Payment will be due by 2/14, as we need to pay Petco Park for these food vouchers.

February 12th: MVP Lunch Registration Deadline 
  • We invite you to join us at the 2025 MVP Luncheon, supported by supported by Maravai LifeSciences Foundation and San Diego Community Power. The MVP Lunch will be held during the Festival from 12:00PM - 1:30PM on March 1st at the Home Plate Club inside Petco Park. This lunch is an opportunity to network with other sponsors, elected officials, student award recipients and important members of the San Diego academic and business community. 
  • Invitation allocations for MVP Lunch by sponsor level are as follows: Platinum (15) Gold (12-14), Silver (10-12), Copper (8), Krypton (5) and Titanium (3). 
  • Directions to the MVP Lunch venue are listed on this page, below the March 1st information.
February 12th: Open House 
  • The 2025 Open House will be held on Wednesday, February 12th at Generation STEAM and Biocom California’s Offices at The Alexandria: 10996 Torreyana Road, Suite 200, San Diego, CA 92121. Please stop by at your convenience any time from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, you can send any representative from your company.  
  • There is ample parking behind our building.  
  • You will be able to pick up your t-shirts and posters, talk with the logistics team, etc. 
February 28th and March 1st: Event Load In
  • We will share more information in the coming weeks, but please keep in mind that you can come set up your booth space the day before the event, on Friday, February 28th, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM PST.
  • You can also set up the morning of the event on March 1st, from 7:00 AM-9:30 AM. We encourage set up the day before.
March 1st: San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering  
  • The Festival will take place at Petco Park from 10:00AM – 5:00PM. Exact parking and friar funds information will be provided closer to the event.
  • The MVP Lunch, supported by Maravai LifeSciences Foundation and San Diego Community Power, will take place during the Festival on March 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM at the Home Plate Club in Petco Park. Registration is required and more information regarding registration can be found above.
  • For the luncheon, please enter through Home Plate Gate (located off of Park Blvd) for the easiest access. Behind the water wall, please enter through the glass doors that say Blue Shield Home Plate Club. From there, you will see two Padres staff members at the concierge desk that can direct you to the Home Plate Lounge.

  • Help us spread the word and highlight your contributions to this program! Our 2025 Social Media Toolkit can be found here. The social media tool kit includes images for all platforms, PSAs, flyers, posters, etc. Our team will continue to add to this arsenal—please keep checking in. We are grateful for any promotion you can provide! Please note you are welcome to create your own posts as well, and you have our permission to use our pictures of past Festivals.
